From theclinic to the crease.
Beginning with formative coaching in Haridwar, India, Ishan progressed through Nepalese cricket, represented Nepal U19, and earned his senior national-team call-up in September 2019.
After his T20I debut against Zimbabwe, he chose to complete his medical degree while continuing to develop in domestic cricket. His return to international cricket in May 2026 was marked by two half-centuries in his first three ODIs, including a match-winning 84 against the USA.
As a left-handed batter, he brings stability, composure, and the ability to anchor an innings under pressure.
